Best to take your measurements in form fitting clothes or with a bra + undies on.

S t e p 1 | b u s t

Wrap the tape measure across the fullest part of your bust. use your bra’s band as a guide, dipping slightly along your back to follow where

the fabric hits. make sure you’re pulling tight enough that there’s only about a pinkies width of room between the tape measure and your

body.

S t e p 2 | w a i s t

Stand in front of a mirror and tip side to side. you’ll see natural creases that accentuate the smallest part of your waist. this is where you want

to wrap your tape measure. be sure not to pull snug, you want an accurate measurement.

S t ep 3 | h i p s

Stand sideways while looking in a mirror to identify the fullest part of your hips. this will be from the fullest part of your backside to the front of

your pelvis. wrap the tape measure along this line, making sure there are no dips or snags while pulling. typically, the fullest part of your hips

is about ten inches down from your belly button. make sure you are not wearing shoes while taking hip measurements. this can skew the

outcome.

Length is often standard for many designers but some may modify to your request. measure from your waist down to the respective hem

placement. additionally, providing your height is helpful to our designers.

Thanks very much for the beautiful jacket it was much admired on the day! I was wearing a wool headpiece so the jacket tied the whole look together perfectly and just added that touch of class to the whole look. I went for the size 12 as I have broad shoulders but as I am 5'3" I could maybe have sized down for a more fitted look and the sleeves were also a bit long for me, but unfortunately with the cost of shipping and import tax (I live in the EU), I couldn't try both so went for the safer option. I didn't find anything in the shops that would come close to this so I was delighted to come across your shop! I just wasn't into the whole pashmina or the fake fur stoles as a keep warm option so this was a beautiful alternative. The lining is a great idea just makes it so easy to slip on or off. It definitely kept me lovely and warm as well as looking fab on a chilly March Day. I did notice some small pilling towards the end of the day as other reviewers have noted but as this is wool item and I was aware this may happen it didn't bother me. The other thing to note is to watch your bouquets near the jacket mine had beautiful feathery grasses in it but the small seeds ended up being caught in the fibres of the wool so just to hold away from your gorgeous jacket! This was at the end of the day, a long time after the photos and they can be removed with a tweezers so again not an issue for me but just as a heads up for others! Shipping was quick enough there is email commication at all times and the item is tracked so this helps with the stress especially when you're on a deadline! Thanks again for a beautiful piece! I ordered this jacket for my October wedding, and this perfectly completed my outfit! Aspect: I couldn't be happier with my choice. It kept me warm, the interior is made of a really soft lining and the exterior is also fine to the touch. The color is a soft ivory. Sizing: The size fit me perfectly. You can ask for assistance via chat if you're not sure, as I did, and thus I made the right choice. My advice is: go with your regular size, and if you have any particularities, reserve some extra time and ask for a custom sizing. Shipping: I had only three weeks until my wedding when I ordered this, so I opted for an EXTRA FAST shipping. Here you need to take into account the fact that this is shipped from outside of EU (Russia), therefore there will be some customs formalities to be filled (also some extra charge, for me it was like 20Euro), take into account a few days of delay for customs. Conclusion: I would definitely order this again! If you want to save money (shipping) order it in time, about 2 months before your event, just to be sure.
